JLL has been retained by the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art to market its New York City flagship location for sale. Located at 140–154 W. 17th St. in Chelsea, the property represents a rare opportunity to reposition a historically and architecturally significant asset at the nexus of Chelsea, the Flatiron District and Greenwich Village, according to JLL.
The 80,000-square-foot mixed-use site features a six-story former museum property totaling roughly 52,000 square feet, complemented by an adjacent and contiguous residential component with 46 apartments.
