Agents and teams from Brown Harris Stevens, Corcoran Real Estate and other industry brands made moves last week.
Every day, Inman gets a slew of announcements about big teams and industry leaders making moves from one company to another. It’s more than we can cover!
So, here are some of the biggest announcements from recent days:
Brown Harris Stevens
After a year away, Chloe Chasanoff has rejoined Brown Harris Stevens. Chasanoff, who comes from one of New York City’s most prominent real estate families, works with buyers and sellers across Manhattan and Brooklyn, helping them navigate premier neighborhoods and residential buildings across both boroughs.
“We are delighted to welcome Chloe back home,” BHS CEO Bess Freedman said. “Her New York roots, strong market instincts, and commitment to client service make her an excellent fit for our culture and a valuable asset to the clients we serve.”
Corcoran Real Estate
Former LPT Holdings SVP of Operations Mercedes Saewitz has taken her talents to Corcoran. Saewitz is the NYC-based brokerage’s regional VP for Florida and will lead the firm’s Miami Beach and Surfside offices, while also providing regional support to the company-owned offices across Palm Beach County.
“It has always been important to me to be part of a company I truly believe in, and Corcoran’s core values of integrity, service, and market expertise align perfectly with my own,” she said. “… I look forward to empowering our agents and driving innovation in an increasingly global and competitive market.”
REMAX
Denver-based franchisor REMAX has expanded its footprint in Rhode Island with HomeSmart Professionals, a six-office firm that has more than 300 agents across The Ocean State. Former REMAX agent Dean deTonnancourt founded the brokerage, which will now operate as REMAX Revolution, in 2014.
“REMAX is truly agent-focused,” he said. “The branding, marketing, and tools are all built and designed with the agent in mind.”
Zumper
Rental marketplace Zumper promoted Chief Revenue Officer Shawn Mullahy to CEO, as former leader and company co-founder Anthemos Georgiades transitions to Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mullahy joined Zumper in 2019, following executive roles at MySpace NYC, Cloverfield Brokerage Group, RCGNY, and SG2 Properties.
“What excites me most about this moment is the opportunity ahead of us,” Mullahy said. “Our team is building solutions that go far beyond a traditional marketplace, helping property operators simplify marketing, reach renters more effectively, and turn digital discovery into real leasing outcomes.”
