Sunjoint Commences Mixed-Use Project in San Gabriel Valley

Sunjoint Development has started construction on the Terraces at Walnut, a 49-acre mixed use development located on Valley Boulevard in Walnut, within the Eastern Corridor of the San Gabriel Valley.  Terraces at Walnut project will feature 79 townhomes, 211 detached single-family homes and 17,052 square feet of retail space.

“With the continued growth of the suburbs in Los Angeles, the city of Walnut has embraced change, expansion, residents and businesses,” said Robert Wishner, CEO of Sunjoint Development. “The Terraces at Walnut will be the perfect addition to the region by providing much needed housing, restaurants and retail.”

JLL’s Blake Kaplan, Erik Westedt and Drew Olson are overseeing the leasing of the retail space.

“The city of Walnut continues to see tremendous residential and business growth, becoming one of the premier submarket in Los Angeles,” said Kaplan.  “We will work to identify the best restaurants and retailers with a goal of creating a place for the community to shop, sit and stay.”
