Stockdale Capital Partners said Monday it will break ground on a 40-story, 518-unit apartment tower at its Campus at Horton mixed-use development in 2025. A second 40-story apartment tower with 332 units will be built on G Street in the future. Together, the two towers will add a total of 850 housing units in San Diego.
The 518-unit tower will include 12,600 square feet of ground-floor retail on Broadway Circle, seven floors of parking with 616 spaces, and the remaining upper floors dedicated to residential spaces. Currently in the design phase, the project should be shovel-ready in the second quarter of 2025, with its completion anticipated in late 2027.
“Stockdale Capital Partners is creating a thriving, one-of-a-kind, mixed-use experience at Campus at Horton,” said Daniel Michaels, managing partner of Los Angeles-based Stockdale. “With the addition of two new residential towers, we are deeply committed to the future activation of Campus at Horton and continue to make major investments in this one-of-a-kind asset for Downtown San Diego.”
One of San Diego’s largest mixed-use projects, the Campus at Horton previously announced its inaugural list of retail tenants and continues to negotiate with a number of prospective retail, office and life science tenants.
