Matthew Stafford Sells Hidden Hills Homes for $21 Million

Matthew Stafford Sells Hidden Hills Homes for Million

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford trims his Hidden Hills holdings, unloading three luxury homes for $21.3 million in back-to-back deals in a matter of hours.

The sales comprise three homes at 5841 Round Meadow Road that became rapper Drake’s former “YOLO Estate,” Realtor.com reported. The properties had spent nearly two years on and off the market before selling to unidentified buyers behind LLCs.

Stafford and his wife Kelly acquired two of the YOLO Estate homes in 2022 for a combined $11 million. The couple purchased the third manse, a red-brick mansion, also in 2022 for $10.5 million.

The Staffords first listed one home, spanning roughly 2,500 square feet on more than 2 acres, in September 2024 for $6.8 million. The neighboring home followed a month later with a $5.7 million asking price. Both underwent multiple price cuts before selling to the same buyer behind one LLC. The larger 7,500-square-foot home sold to a separate buyer for $9.7 million in an apparent off-market transaction.

The 7,500-square-foot home spans eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms and boasts a private vineyard, gardens, pool and spa. When the Staffords bought the property, it was expected to serve as their primary residence. That plan appears to have changed after the couple paid $28.2 million in 2023 for a newly built spec mansion on a neighboring parcel once owned by Jennifer Lopez. Their new home, a modern abode spanning more than 15,000 square feet, was still under construction when they acquired it, so the latest sales suggest the project is complete and that the family has settled into the larger estate.

Stafford arrived in Los Angeles following his 2021 trade from the Detroit Lions and quickly assembled a Hidden Hills portfolio. Since then, he has helped deliver a Super Bowl title to the Rams and recently signed a one-year contract extension worth $55 million. He earned the title of NFL MVP at the end of the 2025 season.
