JPI recently held a groundbreaking ceremony today to commemorate the start of construction on Jefferson Inglewood, which will bring 222apartment units to Inglewood. The ceremony was attended by Inglewood Mayor James Butts, representatives from the offices of Sen. Steven Bradford and Assembly Member Tina McKinnor, and various project partners.
The eight-story, transit-oriented community will host a combination of market rate and affordable housing. It utilizes the City of Inglewood’s Transit Oriented Development (TOD) plan and design guidelines. Completion is projected for 2026.
“Inglewood is such a cool community that has a wonderful history and vibrant future,” said Sunti Kumjim, SVP and regional development partner for JPI. “We are thrilled to continue building upon the rich history of Inglewood and provide much-needed housing that will support ongoing growth in the Inglewood community for years to come.”
