Anthony Davis Inks Million Deal on Bel Air Mansion

The Washington Wizards’ Anthony Davis sold his Bel Air mansion for $32 million in a deal that closed on Thursday.

The home at 2100 Stratford Circle, which spans more than 17,000 square feet, hit the market almost a year ago with an asking price of $39.9 million, meaning the final sale saw a discount of close to 20 percent.

Davis, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 2019 to 2025, purchased the property in 2021 for $31 million. Amenities for the three-story, eight-bedroom residence include a theater, massage room, hair salon, batting cage, cold plunge, elevator, tennis court, Olympic-sized pool and enough parking for over 30 cars.

The home went into contract in mid-April before officially closing on Thursday. Re/Max One’s Jordan Cohen represented Davis in the transaction, while Jacob Dadon of Carolwood Estates represented the buyer. Carolwood declined to disclose the buyer.

Located within Los Angeles city limits, the transaction is subject to the Measure ULA tax, which levies a 5.5 percent tax on deals above $10.9 million. That means Davis had to shell out close to $1.8 million. Factoring that into the final sale price compared to Davis’ 2021 purchase, the NBA all-star walked away with less than he originally paid.

Overall, the L.A. luxury market has seen several high-dollar deals recently, including the $36 million sale of a penthouse unit at West Hollywood’s Sierra Towers, which set an all-time price per square foot record for L.A. County, The Real Deal previously reported.

Earlier this month, two high-dollar Westside homes went into contract but have yet to close. First was Steve Wynn’s 11-bedroom, 20-bathroom mansion at 1210 Benedict Canyon Drive in Beverly Hills which asked just shy of $50 million; and then there was a 30,000-square-foot home at 10250 West Sunset Boulevard in Holmby Hills with an asking price of $43.5 million.
