“General Hospital” star Kirsten Storms‘ ex-husband, Brandon Barash, has been granted an emergency restraining order against her after claiming that she is suffering from severe mental health issues that have caused “housing instability.”
According to TMZ, Barash, who tied the knot with Storms in 2013 and filed for divorce three years later, alleged that his ex-wife had been exhibiting concerning behavior after their separation, which saw him moving to Tennessee and Storms being sued for eviction.
Barash—who shares a 12-year-old daughter with Storms—claimed that “instability with housing has been a recurring theme” with Storms, alleging that she didn’t have a permanent residence from September 2024 to June 2025.
Although Storms stayed in hotel rooms, Barash claimed that she thought people were “following her and the child to her room.”
Barash is also alleging that Storms is unfit to be a mother, claiming that her housing woes cause him “great concern of [Kirsten’s] ability to adequately care for the minor child.”
The TV alum’s ex claimed that Storms called him in November 2025 and claimed that people were breaking into her apartment and putting her items in her car to “mess with her.”
He also alleged that her car is about to be repossessed and claimed that he has had to loan her $5,000 in the past, which she hasn’t paid back.
Barash further claimed that Storms told him that she was “experiencing delusions and hallucinations” and “didn’t think she should have the child for her parenting time” in May 2025.
Barash said that his current wife, Isabella Devoto, has helped Storms be admitted to a hospital, where she was put on psychiatric hold, but when she was released, she acted as if things were normal.
He claimed that a friend of his ex-wife informed him that she had been taking Adderall and other substances.
She has also allegedly had “repeated episodes of melting down, being triggered, hearing things/voices that weren’t there.”
Barash requested that the court force Storms to undergo a mental health test, but it is unknown if it has occurred.
As the legalities play out, Storms is allowed only supervised visits with her daughter.
Storms rose to stardom in 1999 thanks to her role in Disney Channel’s “Zenon” trilogy. She then went on to appear in “Johnny Tsunami.” She has also appeared in “General Hospital” and “Days of Our Lives.”
