Netflix sensation and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders darling Reece Weaver has already turned the page on her time with the team—and planted new roots in the state of Alabama, where she and her husband, Will Allman, have just snapped up a $750,000 home.

Weaver, 24, who is originally from Florida but met her husband while she was a student at the University of Alabama, shot to superstardom while being featured in Netflix’s “America’s Sweethearts.” The hit series documents the grueling tryout process that every member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders—or D.C.C.—squad has to go through each season.

She quickly became one of the breakout stars of the first season of the series, fame that quickly translated to social media, where she became a verified influencer, turning her growing following into a series of lucrative brand deals that ultimately allowed her husband to step down from his job at a power washing company in Dallas.

Initially, it seems that Weaver was destined to remain one of the leading lights of the squad for at least five years—the time period that most D.C.C. members stick to before retiring. So when she announced at the end of the third season that she was quitting the squad to focus on other goals in her life, fans were devastated.

Though she did not reveal on the show what those goals were, the cheerleading star revealed this month on her Instagram account that at least one of them had taken her back to Alabama, announcing that she and Allman are the proud new owners of a property in Tuscaloosa.

“Home SWEET home,” she wrote on her account, while sharing images of the happy couple posing outside of their new abode alongside their beloved pet dog.

The post was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages from other members of the team, including Charly Barby, who praised the elegant dwelling as “perfect,” while Kelly Villares commented: “Can’t wait to visit. So happy for you two.”

Though Weaver did not share any further details about the home, property records show that she and her spouse closed on the dwelling on May 11, just a few weeks before the news of her exit from D.C.C. was revealed to stunned fans.

Located on a half-acre of land in a picturesque suburb of Tuscaloosa, the property features ample room for several of Weaver’s former teammates to stop by, should they wish. It offers four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and more than 3,600 square feet of living space.

Built in 2013, the property was “thoughtfully” designed, the listing states. It features several spacious living areas, as well as outdoor entertaining spaces, along with an external fireplace.

The dwelling is also located just a short distance from the couple’s alma mater, the University of Alabama, where Weaver was a prominent member of the dance team.

Weaver and Allman, who worked with real estate agent Jessica Gilmore of Arc Realty on their home purchase, can also be assured that they’ll enjoy plenty of privacy at the dwelling, which is set behind a gated driveway, allowing them the chance to relax away from prying eyes.

However, the former dancer has already given her fans and followers a brief glimpse inside the dwelling on her Instagram account, filming herself preparing for a trip to New York City, where she took part in promotional events for the latest season of the Netflix show.

Weaver and her spouse also shared some emotional insight into their life since her time on the cheerleading squad came to an end several months ago. While the latest season of the show has only just been released, the events that it documents took place during the 2025 NFL season.

Sitting down with the Wall Street Journal at their new abode, Weaver voiced her frustration that so many fans of the show have directed vitriol at her husband—with many blaming him for her departure from the team, suggesting that he has demanded she fulfill the role of housewife.

During the third season of the Netflix show, Weaver was seen struggling to figure out where her future lay—with the team, or without it—and she repeatedly turned to her husband for advice, breaking down in tears on multiple occasions, including when she prayed with him in their car, before delivering her news to the team’s director, Kelli Finglass.

But Weaver insisted that her husband was nothing but supportive of her decision, telling the outlet that he was ready to stand by her side whether she chose to continue with the D.C.C. or not.

“It makes me frustrated, because that could not be more far from the truth,” the former Netflix star said. “He was so supportive, no matter what decision I made.”

Allman, for his part, was quick to shrug off the backlash, noting that it is only natural for his wife’s fans to seek out someone or something to blame for her exit.

While the former cheerleader has yet to reveal where her future career path might take her, she hasn’t been able to cut ties with the Dallas-based team just yet. She joined her former co-stars for a promotional tour across the U.S., making appearances on the “Today” show and “The Tonight Show” with host Jimmy Fallon.

During a recent appearance on the “Human School” podcast, Weaver also shed some light on her next steps, admitting that she is still “trying to figure out what is next,” but has already got some “fun projects” in the bank.

“We don’t know what the next steps are, but we know that the Lord was calling us back to Tuscaloosa and we had so much peace with that,” she shared. “We have some other fun projects that I’ve been working on.

“As I’ve been on the Cowboys, I have a book coming out that’s really exciting. There are things in the works and things to come. But right now, I feel like I’m in a part of my life where I’m trying to feel encouraged, inspired, and to see really what is next.”

All-American Rejects guitarist Nick Wheeler is opening the doors to the creative hub where his band’s long-awaited fifth album was carefully curated—years after he brought his dream of having a private recording studio to life at his Tennessee home.

Wheeler and his bandmates, Tyson Ritter, Mike Kennerty, and Chris Gaylor, are embarking on their first major European tour in more than a decade, weeks after releasing their album “Sandbox.”

But the guitarist took time out from rehearsals for that tour to open up about the integral role that his at-home studio played in helping to fuel their comeback.

The rocker sat down with Realtor.com® to offer an inside look at the freestanding creative sanctuary he spent years dreaming up—and nearly two years bringing to life.

Located in Nashville, the standalone structure sits behind Wheeler’s residence and serves as both his personal workspace and a collaborative hub for fellow musicians and producers.

The space also played a major role in the creation of the band’s new album, which is the group’s first full-length release since 2012.

In the latest installment of Celebrity Sanctuary, Wheeler reveals how he found the perfect Nashville property where he was able to finally build the studio of his dreams—and how the space ultimately became the headquarters for the band’s latest chapter.

I moved to Nashville in 2015, and I’ve had a place there for over 10 years now. It was actually right before COVID when I had an opportunity to move to my favorite part of town, over on the east side, and build a freestanding studio.

It’s a separate building, it is on my property, but yeah, it’s a completely stand-alone, separate space that I use. I built it for myself and my own projects, and then that turned into a very big band project.

But I also rent it out, not just to anybody, but I kind of try to curate artists and other producers to come through and work on projects there as well. Because I’m touring a lot and split my time between Nashville and the West Coast, I don’t want it just sitting there.

I’ve been recording bands, my bands, other bands, in my bedroom since eighth grade. Every iteration of my life, whether it was growing up at my parents’ house, having an apartment, a townhouse, or an apartment in L.A., I always had a studio space in a spare bedroom.

There was always the room I could go and be creative and work on whatever I was working on at the time.

I had been looking around town for houses that had a large enough backyard to build a studio, or maybe a guesthouse, or a garage, something where I could make a separate space.

Me and my real estate agent found a few spaces that could work, but it was one of those things where I felt like I’d been working my whole life for this opportunity. We found an amazing house, but there was no yard, so couldn’t build a studio.

We found a really dumpy old Tudor house that would’ve needed a lot of work, but had this state-of-the-art studio in the backyard.

After about a month of looking at places all around town, my agent called me with an opportunity. It was this guy who was building a house.

What they’re doing a lot in Nashville is taking one lot, cutting it in half, and building two houses. But I met the guy, we vibed, and he knew what I wanted to do. He decided to sell me the whole thing with just one house on it and help me put a studio in the back, too.

I was at a place in my life where I was ready. I wanted to get this going.

I got under contract with the builder in February of 2020. There were all kinds of shortages, price hikes. I feel like it was a crazy time to take on an undertaking like this.

I just lived and breathed and stressed about building this space during COVID. All the lumber prices going up, all the shortage of subcontractors in Nashville because there was this building boom.

It was the end of 2021 when I moved into the home, and the beginning of 2022 when the studio was finished.

I was able to build it out and stock it with everything that I like to work with, gear-wise. I really tried to focus on the vibe and create a space that not only I was inspired to work in, but other people could come in and be inspired.

I wanted it to feel like a classic recording studio from the ’60s or the ’70s, but I wanted it to be new. I wanted it to be vibey and have that feeling while still being new and reliable.

There’s a control room, an isolated live room, and an isolation booth. We’ve got a kitchen and a bathroom. Like I said, they’re not going to my house to use that stuff.

There’s also a great outdoor space. It’s not my backyard, it’s not my personal space, it’s its own thing. It’s got a firepit, a grill, a picnic table, all that stuff.

It definitely became the hub of this process. Tyson was in Oklahoma, Scott was in Austin, I’ve been on the West Coast this past year, but I’ve got this space in Nashville.

We would get on Zoom meetings or phone calls and toss ideas back and forth. Then I would spend a week in my studio. For that record, myself and my space were the common denominator.

We haven’t been to Europe in 14 years. We’ve done a couple festivals in the U.K. since then, but this is a proper European tour.

It’s been a minute since we’ve done that over there, so it’ll be exciting to see how things have changed.

This has been a long time coming. Since I had one of those old Walmart computer desks back in 1996, this is what I’ve been working toward. I’m super proud of it.

The sprawling 2-acre Cape Cod compound where late “Psycho” star Anthony Perkins tied the knot with actress and model Berry Berenson has hit the market for $3.35 million—more than five decades after it played host to the star-studded nuptials.

The Outer Cape residence is nestled in the sleepy town of Wellfleet, MA, along the Cape Cod National Seashore, and features both a primary midcentury modern house, as well as a one-bedroom studio that has been used by several creative visionaries throughout its history.

Built in 1964, the property has undergone several updates in the years since, but still retains its classic design details, particularly in the midcentury modern main residence.

“There are midcentury details everywhere and it’s basically all in its original form,” said listing agent Kait Logan of Compass. “It still has got this old Cape Cod fisherman feel with the salty air, but there are a lot of trees buffering the dune to the beach.”

The four-bedroom main home boasts an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, an eye-catching floating staircase, custom wood details, built-ins, and glass walls to capture the Atlantic Ocean views.

That midcentury modern residence was originally built in the 1950s, but was destroyed by a fire the following decade—leading its original owners, anti-war activist and minister Ernest Davis Vanderburgh and his wife, Jane, to rebuild it.

According to seller Theresa Rogers, the Vanderburghs’ son designed the dwelling, having intended to make the midcentury modern residence resemble the shape of a ship.

“[Vanderburgh’s] son, an architecture student at MIT, designed and built what we see now,” she told Boston.com. “It was meant to look like a ship, and made use of lots of reclaimed materials, including driftwood.”

The couple also added the studio, which was used as a kind of guesthouse, according to Logan. In fact, the 820-square-foot studio was said to have been home to playwright Michaela O’Harra for many years.

But perhaps the property’s most famous connection is its ties to Perkins, who was best known for his portrayal of the sinister Norman Bates in “Psycho,” and who wed his longtime partner Berenson on the grounds of the estate in August 1973.

Rogers reveals that the compound’s original owners, along with O’Harra, were close friends with Perkins’ mother, Janet Perkins, and would regularly spend time with the actor—which is how he ended up choosing the location as the venue for his wedding.

The wedding was described in a New York Times article as “highly informal” and was attended by only a select group of the couple’s closest friends. The bride went barefoot for the ceremony, wearing a “pink, blue, and green English silk granny dress,” as well as a pearl necklace that Perkins had gifted to her.

“Mr. Perkins was slightly more formal,” the outlet stated. “He wore white slacks, a white shirt and 15‐year‐old white bucks. He married his bride with a ring of Indian turquoise set in silver with little arrows along the sides.”

That informality is exactly what continues to make the property so special, Logan noted, explaining that it immediately transports visitors to a much more relaxed, carefree era.

“Wellfleet takes you back to a simpler time and still holds onto its original character,” Logan said. “It’s what people are craving these days, the simplicity of life. There is definitely something different about the Outer Cape for sure.”

Located near Newcomb Hollow Beach, the residence also features a solarium with brick floors, a cozy sitting room with fireplace, and a main living area with sliders that open up to a spacious deck for entertaining and relaxing.

While much of the dwelling features exposed wood, which adds an earthy feel in almost every room, the kitchen presents a surprising pop of color, complete with turquoise cabinets and pink countertops, a nod to the more vibrant trends of the midcentury modern era.

Rogers is only the second owner to occupy the estate, having bought it directly from Vanderburgh and his spouse—and the listing notes that there is ample chance for a future owner to expand the home if they wanted to.

“This exceptional property presents an opportunity to restore the existing home or design your own vision on a large parcel,” it states.

Actress Leslie Bibb has offered a look inside her ongoing renovation of a historic stone home in upstate New York, two years after she and her partner, Sam Rockwell, closed on the stunning abode.

Bibb, 52, and Rockwell, 57, who have been in a relationship since 2007, purchased the property—which was built in the 1750s—in 2024 and embarked on a gut renovation of the dwelling the following year.

Now, the actress has shared a progress update on the work being done, while also sharing some sweet snaps of her “White Lotus” co-star Aimee Lou Wood being given a tour of the gutted home.

Photos and videos shared by Bibb reveal that the property has been stripped down almost entirely to its studs courtesy of her close friend and designer Shawn Henderson, who is overseeing the overhaul of the A-list couple’s Hudson Valley retreat.

“Home reno update part: too many to count,” Bibb captioned the carousel of visuals, adding: “As Aimee Lou Wood said … I’m in love.”

The actress then revealed that the group kept stumbling across “frogs everywhere,” while sharing a photo of two frog-shaped statues perched on a window ledge and adding: “[They are] like little totems.”

Images of the property itself reveal that, while great progress has been made, Bibb and Rockwell have a ways to go before the dwelling will be in a livable state.

Much of the interior has been stripped down entirely to the studs, with nothing but wooden framing visible in many of the rooms, although the original stonework found throughout the home appears to have been left intact.

Outside, one half of the property has been covered in protective material, while many of the windows have been removed in anticipation of new glass being installed.

A video shared on Bibb’s TikTok with the same caption revealed some insight into the extent of work being done, with multiple trucks parked outside the property, including one belonging to a Hudson excavation company.

In that clip, Bibb revealed that the entire roof of the home has been replaced since work commenced, while an addition appears to have been added to the original stone structure.

As well as the main residence on the parcel, the property comes complete with an enormous barn that is also undergoing a gut renovation, Bibb previously revealed.

In August 2025, when work on the renovation began in earnest, Bibb made clear her desire to maintain as many of the property’s original design details as possible, noting that—while the work carried out on the dwelling would be extensive—she was eager to ensure that it remained true to its heritage.

“Say hello to our new baby … last year Sammy and I bought this beautiful 1750s house with the goal of fixing it up and making it the Upstate home of our dreams, preserving all of its original charm but making it uniquely ours,” she wrote.

Bibb also revealed that the property had captured both her and Rockwell’s hearts from the start, explaining: “From the moment we walked in, we knew it was the one.”  

The actress also paid tribute to Henderson, whom she described as her “partner in crime and designer extraordinaire,” revealing that the two were already having “so much fun” with the project—while urging anyone who has thought about embarking on a similar renovation to get started as soon as they can.

“We are already having so much fun with the renovations and want to take you all along,” she explained. “For all my HGTV enthusiasts, lovers of old houses, CLB community, and anyone who needs some inspiration to start that project you’ve been putting off—this is for you!”

At the time, Bibb also shared a video of herself and Henderson on the first day of the renovation, in which she is seen walking into the structure and declaring: “I feel like this house is magic.”

She further noted that, despite the ramshackle appearance of the property, she and Henderson kept discovering new details that just reinforced her belief that it will one day be the house of her dreams.

“I feel like every time you think something’s crap and then all of a sudden you’re like, ‘Oh, it’s beautiful wood.”

In that video, several of the home’s original design details were captured, including the huge fireplaces, exposed wooden beams, enormous windows, and beautifully ornate wallpaper that featured in many of the bedrooms.

The team has also uncovered a few surprises along the way, including a hidden space in the roof, which Bibb joked back in February looked like a place that “might have had a ghost.”

When Bibb and Rockwell aren’t spending time at their upstate New York home, the couple is based full time in New York City, where they share an apartment on the Lower East Side, according to records.

They have not yet revealed whether they plan to use their Hudson Valley residence as a weekend and vacation retreat, or if they hope to relocate to their countryside dwelling permanently when work is finally completed.

“Saturday Night Live” alum Rachel Dratch has prepared her New York City apartment for a new stage in life now that her son has moved into his teenage years—and a more grown-up room.

Dratch, 60, first settled into a “white brick” apartment building 23 years ago while starring on the legendary sketch comedy show, where she created her iconic “Debbie Downer” character.

The Emmy-nominated comedian and mother to Eli Benjamin, 15, upgraded to a two-bedroom unit within the same building about eight years ago. She tells Realtor.com® the space has served as the family’s joyful sanctuary away from the stresses of city life ever since.

“Living in New York is very, like, sensory overload, so I guess everyone has their own little cave that they crawl into at the end of the day, living in New York City,” explains Dratch. 

“I have a teenage son, so he’s a lot of fun. He’s not like the stereotypical teen slamming doors and stuff like that. We have a lot of laughs. That’s what I associate my home with. Laughs, and me trying to cook dinner.”

Dratch says her apartment is “pretty small” and “ordinary,” and it’s a home where you’re likely to see “a big pile of papers that should be put away.”

Though, Dratch says she has made some recent renovations, including replacing the kitchen floors that had been worn down by her dog, Ruffles. She has also swapped out light fixtures.

But the biggest transformation to take place is the reassignment of rooms after son Eli outgrew his childhood bedroom and moved into more mature quarters.

“My son’s room, it was for a little kid. It was really cute, but now I moved him into what was the playroom, and so now I’m trying to navigate the upgrade from, like, kid room to teen room,” reveals Dratch. 

“I’m sort of in the middle of trying to figure out what that will be.”

In addition to reconfiguring room assignments, Dratch takes charge at home by staying on top of chores and maintenance while also juggling show business gigs, which include hosting her podcast, “Woo Woo with Rachel Dratch,” and returning to Broadway for “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” revival.

“Stars, they’re just, like us!” she jokes. “Yeah, I do my laundry. I do my grocery shopping, all that stuff. I don’t have people. I don’t have staff. Some people do have that, I guess. But I’m a DIY, except for fixing. I can’t fix.”

While Dratch reports “everything’s working OK” right now in her relatively “break-free” home, as a partner of home warranty company American Home Shield for the third year in a row, the funnywoman knows who to call for help fixing any serious issues.

“If any appliances that you have need repair, then American Home Shield will step in,” she says.

“They have this video chat component that, if something’s broken, you could be showing them for troubleshooting and so that’s very easy,” she says. “Also, if you’re buying an old home that you’re kind of inheriting the old appliances, it gives you peace of mind because if something breaks down, you can get it repaired or replaced.

“Like, if you’re having a dinner party and your oven breaks down, we’ve all had those moments in the past.”

When it comes to hosting at her house, Dratch says “SNL” costar Ana Gasteyer is the cast member she invites over most often.

“She and I hang out a lot, and we write together,” says Dratch. 

And because they frequently collaborate, Dratch also spends ample time in Gasteyer’s admirable abode.

“Anna has really good taste,” says Dratch. “Her apartment’s amazing. At Christmastime, she has all the little doodads out and everything.”

Staying close with former cast members and growing familiar with fellow occupants of her apartment building has provided Dratch with a sense of community despite being located in the Big Apple.

“Living in an apartment, you kinda know your neighbors. You know all the dogs in the building and the characters—there’s some cranky characters and some not-so-cranky characters,” she says. 

“It’s almost like communal living, living in a building, so that’s part of it for better or worse. I mean, you’re never alone, let’s put it that way.

“You step out and there’s your doorman, there’s the guy feeding pigeons, whatever it might be.”

But as Dratch’s living arrangement with her son evolves, the longtime New Yorker can’t say for sure whether her current unit will be her forever home. Though, she does seem to guarantee she’ll remain in Manhattan.

“I love my neighborhood, so possibly, yeah, maybe, it might be [my forever home]—unless I try to upgrade somehow. I like living in the city.”
