Skanska Divests Newly Built L.A. Offices for $71M

Skanska has sold 9000 Wilshire, an office building it developed in Beverly Hills, to a company based in Europe for approximately $71 million. Completed earlier this year, the project broke ground in 2020 and represents Skanska USA Commercial Development’s first project in the Los Angeles region.

The buyer, who was not disclosed, will take possession of the 9000 Wilshire development immediately. The four-story office building includes a rooftop terrace and four below-grade parking levels, and offers approximately 49,500 square feet of leasable space. 9000 Wilshire has achieved WiredScore Platinum and two-star Fitwel certification, and once certified, will become the first new LEED Platinum office building in Beverly Hills.

The Los Angeles Business Journal reported that Skanska has two other LA office developments in the works. They include 8633 Wilshire, a three-story, approximately 43,900-square-foot office building in Beverly Hills, and another commercial development at 1811 Sacramento St. in the Arts District downtown.
