SoCalGas Relocates Headquarters from DTLA’s Gas Company Tower

Southern California Gas Company has signed a long-term lease for approximately 198,553 square feet at CIM Group’s City National 2CA in the Bunker Hill section of Downtown Los Angeles. The utility will relocate from the Gas Company Tower, where it has been headquartered since the property opened in 1991.

The lease at 350 S. Grand Ave. is DTLA’s largest year to date, CIM Group said. “SoCalGas had many options for its headquarters location and CIM Group appreciates its selection of City National 2CAL,” said Shaul Kuba, co-founder and principal. “This is another significant milestone for the property and we believe supports our commitment to ensuring that the building is a premier business location option in Downtown Los Angeles.”

Geno St. John from CIM Group’s in-house office leasing team, in partnership with Peter Hajimihalis and Hayley Blockley from JLL, represented ownership. Clay Hammerstein and Danny Rees from CBRE represented SoCalGas.
